They started seeing a lot of locals bringing Speeds to their shop and realized there was a need for more diversity in the parts for the platform. I've had several discussions with David, the manager over there and he's on point. They seem to be good to work with so far and I'm confident they'll be able to get some good parts out on the market. We're excited to help them and get some of their parts out there.

I wouldnt worry about any lip its not needed imo


This will bolt up with the stock sensor so its 100% bolt-on

the lip is only needed on the boost side of the turbo. the inlet never sees positive pressure so you really dont even need clamps haha

and you will need a new maf cal in ATR but same sensor

I'd prefer it if the had a VC vacuum port and didn't include that little filter. Things will get messy.

Ive ran a cpe big maf with a breather on the vc for 25k without issue

the stock maf becomes are restriction when you're maxxin it out at about 4.5v. I was maxing it out from about 4400rpms on up

Well both are a restriction at some point but the sensor's ability to read air past the voltage limit with the stock MAF size is the bigger restriction for the platform. Open up the MAF a little bit and your voltage comes into a more readable range, after recalibrating of course. You need a new filter and coupler due to the increased diameter also. We probably won't sell just the MAF housing on this.

So does a big maf need to be coupled with a MAP sensor upgrade to really unlock tuning potential?

Or can one yoke the K04 with just a big maf? And obvious other supporting factors. Fmic, meth or eth, tuning, etc...

You will be good to go with just the big maf. You dont need and upgraded map sensor running the k04
