Supertech has been offering these upgraded valvetrain components for some time now and I figured some of you guys getting ready to build may be interested in knowing that they are available. The following is some of the Supertech components we keep in stock here at EdgeAutosport. Supertech Exhaust Valves: Available in Iconel or Nitride and in standard size, +1mm over size, and +2mm oversize.   Iconel Exhaust Valves - $238 for a set of 8 Nitride Exhaust Valves - $159.60 for a set of 8 Supertech Intake Valves: Available in Iconel or Nitride and in standard size, +1mm over size, and +2mm oversize.   Click HERE to view all Valve options Iconel Intake Valves - $159.60 for a set of 8 Supertech Valve Springs and Retainers: $336.73 for the set •Type: Single Spring •Press.Seat: 55 @ 35 •Press.Open: 150 @ 10 •Max Lift: 14.3mm •Coil Bind: 20.7mm •Rate: 9.6mm •Retainer: RET-TS5.5/T1+Fact Seat + SEAT-DUR1 •OutSpr.OD: 27.5mm •OutSpr.ID: 20mm  Supertech Valve Guides: - $88.64 for the set of 16 These are necessary if you plan on running the upgraded valves.   Supertech Valve Seals: - $11.20 for a set of 16 These are designed to work with the Supertech valves and valve guides.  These upgrades may not be for everyone but if you are planning to run big boost, rev higher, or do some port/polish work on your head to open up flow, then they will definitely be a benefit to you. |
