Default EGR Delete and Coolant Bypass?

My tuner contacted me, saying my wastegate preload is too low, which is easy enough to change. He also said that to raise my core efficiency I need to do an EGR delete and coolant bypass, and not do WOT datalogs in 110F weather

Now I understand the EGR delete part but what does he mean by coolant bypass? Is that the throttle body bypass I've read about on other threads? If so is there a write up on what parts I need and how to do it?

Okay so the coolant bypass needs a 3/8" barb fitting (both ends) and all I do is connect the coolant hoses together from the throttle body.

Now for the EGR, I don't want to wait on a little kit to be shipped to me. Lowe's is less than a mile from my house so I can pick up what I need from there.

What size thread is the plug, and is there anything else I need besides the block off plates? I can weld a barb onto the main block off plate for the turbo coolant line. But that being said, will blocking off the tube suffice? Or would I need to do a full EGR delete?

Okay so I did the secondary EGR delete, unplugged the primary EGR until I get a proper block off plate. I bought a barb fitting and a tap set but I couldn't find a thick enough piece of metal. So it will have to wait.

But, for the EGR tube, all I did was cut the tube about an inch past the nut, and then pressed a bolt with a tapered head into the tube to effectively plug it. I used a shop press so there's no way it's coming out. For the block off plate I just drilled and cut a piece of aluminum bar stock that matches the OEM gasket. Coolant bypass I just disconnected the hoses (after clamping them tight with vise grips) and reconnected them to each other using a 3/8" ID hose barb coupler.

My BATs are still pretty bad, but that's what I get for using the stock TMIC. However after adjusting my wastegate preload I now hit 22 PSI compared to 18-19 PSI before on the same WGDC.
