(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score If the current intake is limited to 345g/s, around what WHP number does that limit me to? I probably don't even want the answer to that last question, I know the MAF will be maxed out and I will not reach my WHP goals. I've been looking at intakes, I'm not sure which one will do the trick though. Will 3" be enough? 3.5"? What brand? Currently I'm debating a JBR Tru-3.5 or Corksport 3" Power Series. I'm leaning towards the JBR, larger MAF diameter and it's still cheaper than the 3" (not to mention Corksport's shipping cost). The only thing about the JBR intake though is that I will have to relocate the ECU, not really a problem all it costs is like $5 worth of nuts and bolts. I know I should have thought of this before, but a while ago I wasn't even planning on upgrading the turbo. I'm definitely paying for it now, because not only will I need the bigger intake but my tuner is going to charge $75 because I changed something during the tuning process. ![]() Any recommendations? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Corksport 3" only requires this: $5 Stock Battery Box Mod Any 3.5" intake requires ECU relocation or 51r battery. Both will flow enough for 400HP. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score With a 3" you can just take off the ECU mounting bracket and bolt the darn thing straight to the box and not have to worry about moving your harness and securing the ECU somewhere. We did this on my buddy's car, too. He's running my old CS 3" on a Gen1. I have the JBR 3.5" now, which absolutely does require moving the ECU to the top of the fuse box, as the battery box had to be cut. Or you can just get a 51r battery. I'm cheap, so I didn't lol. |
