(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I have a couple questions about fueling, I know the stock direct injectors are limited to around 400WHP. Fine for now, since I have a CS turbo and stock block. But once I go built I will need more fuel. I was looking at the JMF v2, which allows 4 1000cc (or more) Bosch injectors, but I also saw that Speed Perf6rmanc3 sells a sixth port injection kit, complete with controller, fuel pump, harness, etc. My end goal for the build is anywhere from 600-800WHP. Would I be able to do that (comfortably) with the sixth port injection and ported intake manifold? Or would it be more wise to suck up the cost and go with the JMF plus all of the required fueling parts? |

| Not Ranked : 0 score You're going to need more than 2 extra injectors to get to 800HP. Also, you say you fall in love with this car more the longer you have it. Putting a 6466 in it is going to make it a completely different car, don't ruin it. |

Here's how I see it, correct me if I'm wrong: When I blew up my K04 (long story), and I got the larger CS turbo, there were two things I loved about it. One, I love the power it makes, and how it holds boost all the way to redline. The K04 was fun in that it boosts quickly, but the way it drops off at 5K made the car less fun. And two, unlike the majority of people, I love the feeling of turbo lag. I love hitting the gas and then feeling the motor press you into the seat as boost builds. That is what I love most about turbo cars. I don't care about instant response, I care about making power and going fast, and showing these muscle guys what's up. Having this car this long has shown me that it's a fantastic platform, with lots of aftermarket parts and tons of tuning potential. That is why I want to take this car further. That being said, intake manifold is a must then? I can option it out with 4 1000cc Bosch injectors, I'm pretty sure that will be plenty if I'm not mistaken. I'm not sure about fuel rails, pump, etc. I know there is a 4 injector controller that will work. | |

| Not Ranked : 0 score you could either feed it with 2 added injectors or 4, you just need to size them according to the engine needs. But 1 injector per cylinder would make a better delivery to each cylinder. 2x2000cc or 4x1000cc give the same amount of fuel. Also check about fuel delivery system upgrades, pumps, lines, return and surge tank. And don't forget to take a look at everything else needed to even reach 600. And as stated above, think about it before trying to make a 800whp fwd car for street use. Not just the reduced usefull engine powerband but for traction too. Despite it is funny to smoke the tires while passing a car at rolling speed, it may not be much faster at normal street speed....I switched to a 6 for that reason even if my goal is a lot lower than yours.
