No update or progress made really ive been super busy working about 50 hours this week. Anyways I do however have a question for you guys. i ordered those Koni yellows but i was just looking at the delivery note inside the box and it says under the production description on the slip " Koni yellow shock 05-09 Mazda 5 wagon " ... do they use the same suspension ? i already sent out an email to the speed shop i ordered them from but wanted to hear from you guys.

The shop is actually located in warminster pa, and I will have to get back to you on the price, what's your paint code so I can look up the cost of paint.

Thanks! And look around your local salvage yards for a good used one, because brand new OEM speed3 bumper are nearly 400 unpainted!

There's absolutely nothing in my area, and I don't know where to look in the states. A google search isn't giving much to work with, hence why I'm asking.

i haven't made any progress i was really hoping to be doing the finishing touches this weekend but my families shop got super busy, 18 cars in one week! so the mazda got put on the back burner i went down today to initially do some quick work to my daily ( 1999 Mustang GT) then put the speed3 on the frame rack and straighten the crash bar plate, but my daily is a whore and took much more time than i thought. might go down tomorrow morning early and get everything in place to be pulled, not sure yet.

in the meantime, does anyone know what the hell the point of this is ?

besides a racing mirror or scene points i personally don't see the point of having it on a daily lol

It can be added, won't work tho. Won't have much luck moving over used, breaks if you fart near it.

And good job with AP. Hope the hpfp was on the list too. You'll need it come tuning,

Did a quick search and a lot of people seem to have an issue with it not working, would be cool to have but not worth it I guess

And of course im going to pick up autotech HPFP internals once the cars all buttoned up

just got word that the Mazda is on the frame rack, im excited!

once the crash bracket is to spec i can bolt in the rad support front bumper then see what the hell is going on with the front driver side wheel considering there is like negative 3 degrees of camber on it lol, im thinking the bent strut has something to do with it which is why i bought the Koni yellows, but possible the front lower control arm?

below i have a list of what i need to finish her up, upgrading things where i can. but would like to hear any recommendations or point me in the right direction if i have a shitty part listed lmao.

EDIT: some of the prices are rough estimates if i couldn't find an exact price online.

If you have a daily get the continental dw instead. Think about going VIP for the shifter weight and filter might come out even. And if the coolant is empty switch to cheaper shit the mazda stuff is expensive.

I plan on daily driving it but want all season tires because Pennsylvania has some random winters one winter we get 4 inches of snow total the next we have over 80 inches for the season. Plus I work at a Benz dealership and the C classes come with DWS and parts counter swears by them. Although I have heard great things about the DW tires as well, Idk maybe I'll do what I did with my cobalt and have two sets of wheels one for winter and one for summer

Probably will go VIP once its on the road. about the coolant, i saw in the owners manual and all over the fourm via search that you pretty much have to run Mazda FL22 coolant or the ford motorcraft stuff which is slightly cheaper. Rather be safe then sorry ya know ? Lo!

You can't mix the coolants but there are cheaper ones that are safe to run if you flush the system.
