(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  Cruise/idle max timing One thing I've noticed for a while now is that cruise and idle timing doesn't follow the map; even though I'm only commanding 40 degrees max, it will still run the default of 60. I know that ATR has a different table for this (Ignition global max) which does work, but I don't see a table for this in VT. I'm bringing this up now because this could potentially be a serious issue for me after my build is done; with my extremely high static compression ratio combined with high rod ratio, 60 degrees of timing could potentially hurt the engine when 20 might be the new maximum (and 5-15 might be MBT @ 8k RPM).

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Here's a log of it going over commanded timing, plus my actual map I'm currently running. As the engine warms up, it will exceed target timing and hit as high as 60 degrees, before settling back down around the low 50s. Issue starts around row 531; missing about 15-30 seconds of data right after the cold start (first start of the day).
