Important note about VT update

Make sure you back up the settings as recommended; for some reason, it's not keeping tune customizer settings (megaspool, DTC disable, etc) settings for me between restarts of the app.

Pending some investigation on my end.

Same here! The only setting that was saved after restart was "Vehicle Interface: MongoosePro ISO"

So I gambled and went ahead with an update before backing up my data. Everything saved except for the logging device (the connection cord). I choked this up to now having the Bluetooth as an option.

Looks like the local settings (Megaspool, FFS, DTCs) get trashed upon close of app UNLESS you restore them from backup...which wipes any maps you imported since.

WORKAROUND:

1. Take a screenshot of your settings from the settings tab (either before or after install, but if doing after install don't close the app)
2. Install and load your new map or just load your new map if already installed.
3. Go to settings screen, manually restore settings.
4. Flash the new map.

This should get most people where they need to be.


Once you import a new map, it wipes your settings again. Hopefully, that's enough to go off of.
