Default HTP 3" Turbo Inlet NOW AVAILABLE!

Official Product Release

HTP 3” Turbo Inlet for Mazdaspeed3 & Mazdaspeed6

HTP is excited to announce the release of our newest product for the Mazdaspeed platform!!! Thanks to your feedback and demand, we will now be offering a 3” Turbo Inlet for the 2007-2012 Mazdaspeed3 and 2006-2007 Mazdaspeed6. Like our 2.5” inlets, the new 3” inlets are manufactured out of T-6061 aluminum and are professionally TIG welded, feature bead rolled ends, and are available in two finishes: polished aluminum or a black wrinkle powder coat. Additionally, each inlet includes a 3/8” NPT bung welded in and comes with both a plug and barbed fitting to vent off the valve cover. These inlets are a great addition for those running a bigger turbo or for someone seeking a full 3” intake system. Each order includes all of the necessary hardware for a direct replacement including the coupler to the turbo. Several coupler options are available depending on your turbo. We also offer an optional 3” 45 degree elbow to mate with 3” MAF housings.

The new inlet is now available for purchase on our website www.hitunedperformance.com.

Stay tuned...this is only one of several new product releases slated for this spring!!!

@HTP, name is collin, i ordered about 2 weeks ago and i have a recommendation for your tip. When the valve cover vent goes, that brass fitting needs to be a 90* instead of straight. I put one on mine because the tube had to bend so much it creased. Other than that great great product and awesome customer service.

Send them some pictures of your recommendation. That is a great suggestion.

Have you installed the 90* fitting and could send us a picture of it installed? If you haven't done so yet, we can send you a 45* and a 90* fitting to see if that will work better. Looking at that pic it looks as though a 45* fitting would keep the hose from kinking. I will test fit one on a car tomorrow and then correct the fitting that we include in the kit. Thanks for your feedback!

I was having the same issue with the kinking on the 3" TIP. I am temporarily using a ziptie to squeeze it where it was pinching until I go to the hardware store.

Let us know if you'd like a 45* or a 90* and we'll drop one in the mail tomorrow.

It would be a 2"-3" coupler which would be included in the kit if your using a stock turbo. We are currently testing our MAF housing, so when that is complete we will be offering some package deals.

I was looking at the 3" then I saw this 2.5" TIP, the smaller one may fit the bill for my project.

I got a few questions @HTP , can it be sold with a coupler that can mate to a 3" turbo inlet (GTX2867)? I still want the coupler that comes with the TIP to mate to the K04, this way I can run this TIP right away and switch out the couplers when I go BT.

I was looking at ATP's TIP and saw the price....way too much for a TIP. Yours look better and cost less.

Yes, whether you're interested in the 3" turbo inlet pipe or the 2.5", we can provide the appropriate coupler(s) you'll need for either set up. Shoot me a pm and I can give you details for whatever you need. Thanks!

Total newb question, but do you guys have a recommend for the stock k04 as far as a 2.5 or a 3" tip. Is there going to be any difference?

Finally put on my HTP 2.5" TIP. Went on easier than my previous Cobb model. Just a shame that beautiful black powdercoating is hidden.
HTP likes this.

Absolutely. I don't have red as an option in the store yet but we can do that no problem. Cost would be the same as the black powder coat. If you're interested, feel free to pm me or send over an e-mail. Thanks!

Nope. We were in business long before they came around and disappeared. We occasionally do focus builds so this question pops up from time to time.

These will be available very shortly. Finishing up the mounting bracket and they will be good to go. Thanks for your interest!

@HTP; Update? Im aware i can just piece it together on your site and then get a ATP 3" MAF housing for around $240 (no filter) but didnt know what the pricing point would be for the full kit from you.

Another issue im running into is my current filter, and anyone can answer this (TIA). I had a cobb setup and you use a 4.5" filter, this obv wouldnt work with your setup unless i had a 3" to 4.5" elbow correct?

Can you powdercoat purple? Like closer to black cherry color? I'd have no problem paying extra for this rice.
