HIDs, Reverse lights, Liscence Plate lights

alright so lights are all done to my taste

Low beam and Fogs are 6000k
got White LED for reverse
and White LED for the Licence plate lights

pictures will be posted in about 2hrs when it gets dark here!


Soon will be Springs still trying to figure out if 1st Gen springs fit em.

Nice - I just ordered 5000k for the low beams and 3000k for the fogs - I'm pumped for it.

nice i thats what my buddy is running in his 1st gen speed looks nice
i used to have 8000k low and 3000k on my 08 MZ3 and then i got 6000k for both low and fogs and thats when i decided that was my favorite color so got the same for the speed

JS- I think the reverse lights are "7440" instead of w5w for the license plate lights. I'm thinking about ordering these from the same guy in China:

How hard is it to replace the fog bulbs?

I know the 1st Gen was somewhat easy once removing a few of the belly pan screws and reaching up inside behind the fog light assembly. Is it just as easy on the '10?

For the people that asked...

You do not have to remove the bumper to get at the Fog light bulbs. There are little "trap doors" held on by 3 small screws that you can remove, and pull the plastic down far enough to get your hand up and install the HID kit.

I'm not sure what it was, looked like some sort of bumper/frame piece that was made out of a very hard dense plastic. It was black in color about 4 inches wide, ran upward and located to the inside of the foglights area. I used the supplied double sided tape and stuck it to that.

I'm definitely going to do these mods that you've done, I've already ordered some of the parts. Can you also do this with the brake lights though? Swap the bulb with an LED one?
