Stupid I-5 bridge collapse. Looks like they loaded it on a boat instead of sending 160 miles down I-5.

The thread length of the shifter seems to be different on the MS6 we tried making it not come down quite low enough on the shift boot.

It was tested on an MS3 TWM so the MS6 TWM is probably the same no?

At any rate, looks like it will be delivered today.

Hmm, this almost brings this up to height of my old Protege shifter, which I loved. Damn, if I only didn't need to get new brakes next month ...

I'm pretty sure I can do that. I'll rotate it around and try and get some more pics in better lighting.

Great - much appreciated! I like how the COBB knob looks on top. Is that an aftermarket shift boot?

Yes, it's a redline goods boot that's 1.8" shorter to go with the TWM full replacement shifter.

Glad you're enjoying it! We felt the same way when we designed and built this - a very nice improvement in shifting and it looks stylish in the interior! I hope this makes it easier on his shoulder as well when he's back in the driver's seat.

Got mine today, just had enough time to install it and snap a few pics. Definitely high quality stuff, both the extender and knob. Coupled with TWM full replacement this makes rowing through gears so much better. Excellent product.

So why would someone get a short throw shifter and then make it longer by putting this on? I don't understand what this does besides give you leverage, seems to defeat the porpoise of a short throw.

The TWM shortens throws too much, in my opinion, and the real benefit for me is the more solid feel of the shifter mechanism. Throws are still shorter than OEM with this setup, and the knob is at or slightly above stock height which I like.

quick and dirty pic.

Feels a lot shorter than the twm extension I was using. To me this is the perfect height and it is more solid feeling than the twm extension as well. That one was too tall and floppy feeling. Stratified extension is a cleaner finished look also. Only downside, is I can't seem to get the logo's to line up straight. Overall i'm happy with it, exactly what I have been looking for, thanks for a great product!

Thanks for the review - it looks nice with the COBB knob.

Have you tried twisting on a little tighter - all it needs is another 1/4 turn.

I went back and tried to tighten it again with no luck, even used a rubber jar lid opener to get a good grip. it's as tight as I can get it.

Although it might seem counter-intuitive that a longer shifter actually helps with shifting, once you try this out; it's clear how much smoother and direct everything becomes.

We just had a customer post this review on our site:

I recently had bank-hart shoulder surgery and pondered on the idea if this product would help. I patiently waited for Stratified to release this product and purchased this the day of release. Upon pulling out of the box the finish is top notch and I liked how the shift knob was heavier than my old Cobb. I installed it the same day, but I couldn't drive just yet. My buddies who were driving for me because I was also getting a tune from Stratified complimented every detail about the extension and knob. They flat out said it looked cool! Well finally 6/11/2013 my doctor released the ok to drive. Came home that same day and I wanted to drive. It's 98 degrees outside and I touched my hand on the Stratified knob and it was not hot. Driving around town required little effort for me to shift because I could rest my elbow on my armrest and just flick between shifts. Thanks Stratified for making such a awesome product!
There are still a few of the extensions left at the introductory price.

We just had a customer post this review on our site:

There are still a few of the extensions left at the introductory price.
I wanna buy one with a boost dial in the same order but I will be broke for 2 more weeks.

Sent via blown passenger side speakers.

I think we will still have these then. The knobs are the ones in shorter supply if you wanted one included.

Definitely a worthwhile purchase. Very nice improvement and happy with the knob as well. Still some roughness for me though, so I ordered the modified shift forks. Wish those could be as easy to install as the extender.
