I credit Lex with single-handedly:

1. Making my car fun enough to keep
2. Giving about 30HP over what I had with mods alone
3. Keeping my motor from blowing on the stock tune
4. Teaching me what I needed to know to do this right
5. SHortening the life of my clutch by a few thousand miles lol...just kidding.

I need to do Internals, but with my clutch going, all my money will be going into a replacement for that. WIth internals and some corn....man, this thing would be a beast.

I'm getting the strangest KR lately. It's becoming a slight concern.

May wanna look at where youve been getting gas and to check mounts. One local pu had kr issues and his rmm tranny bolts were loose. Other dude in a 6 was having kr for the longest time. Switched gas stations and all gone.

I use the same station every time I get gas. I have a JBR RMM that's torqued to specs, thread locked, and rechecked every oil change. I'm pretty diligent with that stuff.

Try another station then. This kid swore by his station. It was A hess and went to sunoco.

I am in the process of tuning with @Lex and can say nothing but great things about what he does. My car feels like a different animal right now and we're not done. If you're in question dont be he does a great job with fast response times and great customer service imo!

Virtual Dyno should be set under option menu custom 1.01 and smoothing 5 to be more accurate . you are more around 265WHP .

Summer heat and california gas mix very poorly. You have to pull timing or boost from OTS stage2 maps to not knock on 91 pump. Pulling some boost is likely to leave you with more power. That and trying a different station is good advice. An E85 blend (even 1 or 2 gals) will really help as will meth injection.

Not a chance. I know the owner and can verify that he uses untainted fuel. He's also really good about storage tank maintenance and pump accuracy. He's a gas/oil nerd and a car guy. I trust him.

Come to think of it. This shit didn't really start until the weather heated up.

E85 mix would be nice, but the nearest source makes it entirely illogical.

In that case it seems dropping a psi or so of boost from the tune will be the answer.

Unfortunately, that aspect of gas is uncontrollable. The main refineries here in Long Beach supply the entire area with the same fuel, regardless of the name of the station. I know the dumb little secrets. Plenty of friends that work at the refineries.

I can at least make sure the station I'm getting it from takes the proper storage and delivery precautions. Some stations around here are just plain dangerous.

I'll just drop the boost and see what happens.
