Stratified Tuned by Alex and Brad

Hey everyone,

I thought i'd post up my tuning results from the awesome tuners over at Stratified. Here are the mods my car has:

cp-e HPFP
cp-e SRI
cp-e TIH
ETS 3.25“ intercooler
cp-e downpipe
cp-e catback exhaust
Denso ITV22 (1 step colder plugs)
Petro-Canada/Sunco —Ultra-94 —(94 octane)

Here's the virtual dyno plot for a Stage 2 OTS tune and then my stratified tune. Also, i want to note that my log for the OTS had 17 degrees F cooler BAT's, so if i did a log with the stratified tune in the same conditions as the OTS log i would have seen even higher results.





Once again i want to thank Alex and Brad for their awesome tune they gave me and i highly recommend them to anyone who wants a tune done. Stratified FTW!!

Thanks for posting this Jan, it was our pleasure to work with you! Your car took the most timing I have ever seen on Canadian gas! It responded very very well and the it's great to see the whp gains hold at all RPMs.

That's the same thing I thought too and it still drives like a beast! They definitely know what they are doing and it's incredible the power that can be had with just a tune by some skilled tuners.

I hate petro 94, husky 94 is useless as well. I'm making similar numbers with on shell 91. What were the temps when you did the logs ?

The outside temps for my last stratified tune was 28 degrees celsius and 35 degrees with humidex. So it was really hot outside and the BAT's were I think 140+ Fahrenheit for that run. Also, from my experience, Shell 91 give me better mileage (due to no ethanol) but Petro/Sunoco Ultra-94 gave me the best knock resistance.

Temperatures make a huge difference in these cars. In the last one his bats crept to over 130* F at the end of the pull.

Not only do higher temps increase the chance for knock, but the higher temps also reduce the efficiency of the turbo. It's a double hit.
