(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Hi, I have a 2008 speed3 with 95,000 miles. I am highly ignorant when it comes to parts and maintenance. That said, here is my comment/question: I never replaced any front suspension parts and was hoping one of you kind experts could answer a few questions: -Should I just change the struts or should I change other parts (shocks, mount, etc)? -Does anyone recommend any specific parts? Thanks in advance!!! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Are you looking to stay stock or do you want to upgrade parts? How will you be driving the car? Koni yellows are generally a good better than stock upgrade, but it really boils down on what you want to do. tapatalk, it sucks |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I would replace all 4 dampers with some OE replacement type shock, ie Koni orange, yellow, FSD, or Bilstein B6 (personally I went for the Bilstein). Replace the front top hats and bearings. Other than that you should be good. Check for end links that have exploded and replace as needed. The stock springs are probably good enough if you're only driving on the street.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score -I wouldn't mind upgrading parts and I am looking to drive it just on the street, commuting and such. -I was thinking of going with the Koni yello (the Bilstein are a bit expensive). Does Koni sell top-hat/mounts and bearings to go with their yellow struts? Thanks for responding |
