(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Just edit the tables and flash that bitch Don't forget to zero out the new load error wgdc comp table. Bmorris, Maybe the "b" table is your issue. Did you correct that one. It should be for DSC active but who knows. I'll post my B table when I am back at my PC.

| Not Ranked : 0 score ok I really think something is wrong with reducing the doubled DBW tables.. It seems I can't quite reach boost targets and I'm only seeing 160-180 maf gs. I'm going to make a map with the double DBW and see how it runs *edit also I'm being limited to 1.7 load haha Dano these are your values x2

| Not Ranked : 0 score Well I think I got it.. I put the doubled DBW tables and the car came alive. it was like when I put 100 in the cells, the ecu would only run up to 50% throttle for tables that use throttle input on the y-axis.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I finally got this loaded up and setup a new map. What strategy are you guys using to hit your boost targets? I setup my WGDC table with the new values, 0'd out the Load Error Comp, and used Cobb's suggested Boost Error Comp values. Code: -9.00 -7.00 -5.00 -3.00 -1.00 0.00 1.00 3.00 5.00 7.00 9.00 0.04 0.02 0.02 0.00 0.00 0.00 -0.02 -0.07 -0.15 -0.20 -0.25 From my datalogs it looks like the ecu is using the BEC values to hold boost at target minus 4 psi. Since the error table only tells it to increase WGDC up to a value of -4 (I'm assuming interpolation at -4 is 0.01) it holds at a range of 17psi - 4psi = 13psi, which closely matches the psi reached on the datalogs. I'm going to try bumping the WGDC values slightly, and raising the BEC values to: Code: -9.00 -7.00 -5.00 -3.00 -1.00 0.00 1.00 3.00 5.00 7.00 9.00 0.04 0.02 0.02 0.01 0.01 0.00 -0.02 -0.07 -0.15 -0.20 -0.25 |

| Not Ranked : 0 score The new Cobb maps are setup to basically run an unaltered WGDC - the values are quite high and there's no comp until the -5 cell in BEC. So if a person is using the ots BEC values, but with a "normal" WGDC table, it would probably underboost. I use .03 and .10 in the first two cells of BEC (-1 and -3), with much lower WGDC values than the appropriate ots map for my car and have no problem at all. I can actually find several consecutive rows in logs where it's cycling 3% WG changes. With the new logging resolution, and it responding so well to the newly exposed tables, it's kind of fun to play with. If it matters, I have load error comp and rpm comp A&B zeroed, and 10 for boost high ramp limit. For me it's now officially better than load tuning. I love that you can easily set a WG upper limit - that means you can set a higher boost target than WG will allow in warm weather, but (hopefully) make your target in cooler weather. So you can tailor your boost with either WG or boost targeting, play them against each other, really fine tune an individual car.

I uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. I'm just going to try going back to the previous firmware. AP-MAZ-002 v1.6.4.2-2276

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm glad I was relatively close with my BD table experimentation, although a little on the high side. It seems like Cobb's original explanation of the BD table adjusting in mm Hg (I believe) was wrong.

| Not Ranked : 0 score So I never found a solid solution to limiting boost in 1st and 2nd gear. Has anyone figured this out yet? I had one idea I wanted to run past people: Instead of zeroing out the WG Duty Load Error Comp like has been suggested, what if we only zero out "0" and below. Wouldn't this cause the ECU to pull WG Duty cycles if the load is above the specified value, but if below the specified value dont do anything with load? If so, Couldn't we then change each of the "Throttle - Req Load" tables and set them to be a load cap? So in 1st gear, set the load cap to 1.5, 2nd gear 1.8, 3rd-6th 5.0 or whatever? Would the ECU then stop building boost once the load is reached or if the boost target is reached before the load (5.0 for 3rd-6th) then it would use the boost targets? This is not as nice of a solution as just being able to set boost targets by gear, but if it works... Just a late night thought. Let me know if this makes sense and sorry if this has been said before. Just never found a solid solution to limiting boost in 1st/2nd.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score but it does seem that I have heard gen2 guys having issues with trying to use APP to lower power but don't remember who it was. As 12pk said, works like a charm on gen1. I had my 1-3 limited until I got the sticky A048s which let me have full power in 3rd again BUT then I started tweaking VVT and well, lost some traction in 3rd gear again due to decreased spool time...then went and added 3 gallons of E and all hope of traction in 3rd is gone again without APP tweaking. LOL 1-2nd gear code going to 49 Code: 0.00 0.25 0.65 1.68 3.25 4.50 6.00 7.50 9.00 10.50 12.00 13.75 16.00 17.50 19.50 21.50 26.50 29.50 33.00 36.00 37.50 38.80 40.20 41.60 43.00 44.40 45.80 46.50 47.20 48.60 49.00

| Not Ranked : 0 score I think it may be an issue of not cutting the table down enough gen1 vs gen2. I cannot speak for the entire gen2 community, but I would think it may be a matter of us being more aggressive in cutting those tables down. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score you rash gen2 youngsters....lol it takes some finesse to tweak APP. you don't want to start at 0 pedal because that will throw off clutch release to pedal feel too much. IIRC my scaling started around 45% pedal pos and I only translated up to 49%.

| Not Ranked : 0 score APP worked for me to limit 1-2 gear boost, so I'm not sure what the issue may be there. Some cars may react differently, as we've seen before. IIRC, I was hitting 15,17, and 19psi in 1st-3rd respectively. 15 is still a handful in 1st, but it's better than 19.

| Not Ranked : 0 score APP didn't work for me. I capped it at 50% for 2nd gear, and nothing happened. I was still hitting 19 psi. However, I'm using TRL tables now and I've had great success with that.
