(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  MazdaSpeed 2.3L DISI Turbo Blown Engine Resource Thread Hello! We are starting a Resource thread for blown engines on both Mazdaspeed 3 and Mazdaspeed 6 2.3L DISI Turbo engines. This is to help gather info so we can try and get down to what is really happening to these engines. Maybe we can find some consistencies and inconsistencies. Things posted will be Mods on the car (piggy back, big turbo, fmic, cai, etc, etc). What cylinder rod (or other damage) blew out. Situation when it happened (miss~shift, low rpm boost creep going up hill in 4th gear, etc, etc). Car build/year. Stuff like that. So if you have any info. Or if you know of anyone that has blown an engine, please post up here and let me know. If you want to remain anonymous, please PM me. I can respect that and will post you up as John Doe 1, John Doe 2, etc. We can even post up pics too. Pics are always cool to look at.. hehe. Any and all advice is welcome.
