Good luck fitting those. Would take a lot more than "a roll at least" to make it work.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Figured I would ask since you guys know wtf you are talking about, Ive currently got 235/40s wrapped on 18x9.5 +38 rims. Ive got coilovers, 5mm spacers up front and I did a slight roll on the back, they fit great but the tires are a bit stretched, what do you guys suggest would be the widest tire I could fit on there. Id rather not pull the fender but wouldnt be against rolling it more. I basicly want the rim and tire to be even and not stretched.

| Not Ranked : 0 score With out the slight fender roll I was scraping the very edge of the tire whenever I would hit a bump. Now after it, I can fit 4 nator heads in the car and only slighty scrape the fender on a large dip/bump, otherwise zero issues. Ive got about 1"1/2 gap between the fender and wheel. And my kw's are super skinny so they still have over an inch of room between wheel and strut when turned all the way.

Also section widths can vary from brand to brand. When you are dealing with fitment like this that's something to keep in mind. Tapa

| Not Ranked : 0 score 08 MS3 on Eibach PK - I want to get some new rims and i want them to be almost flush with fenders, just a touch inside ~2-3mm or so. I would greatly appreciate any input you guys can give me in order to make this happen. I am currently running 215/45s on my stockers and would like to run a 18x8/8.5 wheel with wider tires. Can anyone help me figure out exactly what size wheels/tires i would need to achieve my goal? I was looking at the XXR line and i like the 527s but +35 is out of the question for the simple fact that i dont want the wheels poking out past the fenders. Thanks in advance for any input on my dilemma

| Not Ranked : 0 score i would pull now personally, but just slightly. you can tell if you actually NEED a pull by looking to see if there is any paint on your tires and checking for burn marks on the inside of the fender. if either of those is there, get yourself a little pull. make sure to do it right and pull the whole quarter, dont just heat the fender and get that gay looking 3" flare of the fender. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Was OMW home from class today and one of my stock tires totally exploded at about 25k miles on them. The rest are pretty much bald so i was going to go a head and by new Wheels and tires, From what I've read 18x8.5 44 offset on stock suspension should be fine, but i could use some advice on which tires work well for DD and if i should go 225 or 235. Was looking at these guys 18x8.5 Rota Grid - Hyper Black (5x114.3/e44/73) Wheeldude.com - Professional wheel dealer.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Got a question boys. I drive a 2012 Genpu and I'm looking for a winter set up. I've done my research on the forums and I've decided to go with 205/60R16. I know the biggest issue with 16s is clearing the calipers. I have found 16"x6.5" rims and my question is... how much of an impact will the offset have in terms fit? I can get an offset of 40 mm or 45 mm. The guy in this thread R32 GTS-T Wheels, winter test fit! managed to fit his 16s that had an offset of 40. Would 45 be better in terms of clearing the calipers? Or does offset really only impact how flush the tire is with the body of the car. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score My friend has a set of nt03s for cheap. They are 17x8 +38. I'd planned on going 17x9 and sticking with stock suspension like I've seen on Goodwin racing. I'm on stock suspension and plan to stay that way. Will it look like a monster truck on my gen 1? Not sure about the tires he has with them yet. Thanks for the reply. 235/45 would give you closest to stock diameter. You'll want to roll fenders either way though. Tapa

Regarding offset, on the same width rim, lower offset will push the rim farther away from the caliper. You can plug some values into this calculator to see where the rim will sit. That being said, if I had to do it all again I would get 215/50-17 or 225/50-17. We dont usually have a ton of snow up here so the extra width and less sidewall will be a better all around winter setup than the 16" and 205s.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I'm looking for track wheels & tires and am considering 17x8.5 wheels, with 245/45x17 NT-01s.
This is for a 2007 Gen 1. Edit: realised this question is useless without a wheel offset! Doh! I'll come back with one soon.... Thx |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Just got my Speed3 genwon and wondering if this setup would work on stock suspension without a roll. Motegi Sp-10 18x8 +40 wrapped in KDW 2's 235/40-18. Thanks for the help. |

that size will fit but you'll definitely need at least a roll. And don't do laces.
