(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Sorry for all the posts, but am having trouble finding some information. FSM doesn't describe it but when I got my engine back it seems like the machine shop already primed my oil pump. That being said, when I took apart the face of the pump to prime it myself, I didn't see any silicone on the mating surfaces of the pump. My question: Should there be any silicone between the face of the pump and the pump housing? Your help is appreciated! Phil. |
