Default Rebuilding engine--NEED HELP

So I just bought my MS6 last year and I have already spun a bearing and damaged the crank in my engine. So instead of paying thousands of dollars buying a new engine and getting it installed by a professional, me and my friend are going to replace the crankshaft ourselves. We have the engine out of the car so now I'm looking at replacement crankshafts. Has anybody ever used the crankshaft from RockAuto? It has a different part number so I was wondering if it would still fit. Also, what gaskets do I all need to replace? I'm new to the mazdaspeed community so I'm not too familiar with all the parts that need replacing when taking out the crankshaft. Any help would be appreciated!

So you'll need all the main and rod bearings, if you're there also replace the piston rings.
Since you'll pull the head you will need the head gasket, eventually intake manifold gasket, exhaust manifond gasket to head, gasket between the turbo and exhaust manifold, gasket between the turbo and downpipe. And of course you'll need that silicone to form the gasket for the oil pan.

Also since you're there replace the PCV and PCV housing gasket.
It may be a good idea to purchase a complete 2.3DISI-T gasket set, it's around $350 and also contains the valve seals. Replacing the valve seals, PCV and piston rings, assuming you don't have a cracked piston (piston ringlands) will most probably mitigate the problem which lead to your engine running without enough oil.

As for the used crankshaft, if it's not the same part number I'd advice against it.
MS6/CX-9 likes this.

Chances are its not a mazdaspeed crank,
send the original Crank out and get it ground for undersize bearings

Grinding is around $100.00

I have a crankshaft out of an 06 MS6 I'd be willing to part ways with from when I went ZZB that's not damaged since it was the rod that snapped.

As for parts you'll obviously have to replace all the rod bolts...in fact, just get new rods, you don't want the time bombs in there anyways. All the bolts that hold the crankshaft carrier are TTY if I remember right so they'll be replaced, Donate and you'll get access to all the extra content/engine builds/shop manuals that you'll really need since they have all your torque specs.
