Matt Damond Oil Catch can kit

Installed my Matt Damon OCC this weekend. Quality with excellent directions.

My only recommendation is to add something like this to the directions: "feed the PCV and IM hoses through the various engine wiring an components and ensure they are in their final resting place before securing them to the PCV and IM."

There isn't much room to work with, and I have to bend the hoses pretty good to feed them through the engine components, and I'm sure I placed unwanted stress on the plastic PCV valve. Just glad it didn't break.

Matt Damon eh? I was unaware he was involved in the Mazdaspeed world, much less making parts for us, crazy! It's nice of him to take time from his busy schedule being Jason Borne and make some OCC's, I wonder if they're as kick ass as his ninja skills are.

I just want to know :

- Diameter of the nipple under the OCC where the Butterfly valve are ?
- Diameter of the extra hose MATT gives us to make extra length to drain our OCC under the car ?

I use 3/8" nylon tubing for the drain hose. heat it up and put it on the drain valve.

I am so thankful to have found this thread! I am also dealing with Matt Damond's shadiness as we speak. Although, I wouldn't know, because this crook doesn't respond to emails or any communication in a timely manner. I paid MATT DAMOND 175$ via Paypal on July 6th, it's now SEPTEMBER 6th. Matt told me over 5 weeks ago, that it would only be a couple more weeks before my kit would ship and he would provide tracking info etc, that was the last and only communication I received from him. I have attempted to email several times since with no response. I even complained on paypal, and this scam artist didn't even respond. I either want my hard earned money back, or the product I ordered. As KCI said above, you can't run a business, especially online and not have any CUSTOMER SERVICE. I AM CALLING YOU OUT MATT DAMOND, man up and do the right thing here. Not just by me, but by everyone who has had the displeasure of doing "business" with you. Good day!

I have ordered MD OCC in the past. A great product. I have ordered other parts from him as well with no problems. He is helping to modify a stock product to fit with my FMIC. While he is a ginger, he is easy to get a hold of. The man is busy so he needs some naps.
