While I'd like to run the ST mani as well, I think that if I go that route, it's going to mean switching to a FMIC to make life a little more straightforward. That said, I'm thinking about FMIC pipe routing for a vertical-flow intercooler, something like this: http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p...02z06/FMIC.jpg Given the location of the TB, it might work pretty well. |

In for working with my tmic. New manifolds, retune and I'm done on stock block setup. |
waiting for genone port injection |
I am in if the TMIC can work as well. the 100 degree heat in SoCal means I wont be blocking my radiator anytime soon. But props go out to Matt for thinking outside the box and giving us more options for the platform. |
So OEM gasket is used to seal the adapter flange to the head I assume. Or is there an o-ring channel grove where ST IM o-rings are used? Just looked at the machining in the 3rd pic. Assuming that OEM gasket is used, are people cutting centers of gasket out where it would sit in front of the split? Awesome product. I want one but cant justify spending $300 now, but I already have an ST mani so hopefully some day will get one. I assume I can figure out cold pipe routing and hopefully fitting Synapse and routing recerc tube wont be too hard. |
