(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Ok..... didn’t seem to be a issue when I was more active a while ago. Does anyone know of a reputable place to buy a used or refurbished head then? Trying to weigh options of either rebuilding mine, or buying one. For rebuilding, does anyone recommend anything beefier then OEM spec? Not looking to build a full blown race car, but parts that can handle more abuse aren’t a bad thing... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

| Not Ranked : 0 score You can buy a reman head from rock auto. Just about any reputable machine shop should be able to rebuild your head if its just bent valves.

What valves/springs do you recommend from the aftermarket field? While I’m I there I don’t see why it would hurt the put aftermarket parts in... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk | |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I think most people go with the supertech springs. There are lots of threads with build info for upgraded heads, just search around.

| Not Ranked : 0 score If you are keeping stock cams and just want to rev higher, the Supertech 55lb kit seems to be the jam.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks for the replies, I’m going to look into that 55lb kit, I currently have no intention to build this thing into a 500+ whp monster, 300-350 whp is my ideal range as it is a daily driver. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

| Not Ranked : 0 score If you aren't revving higher than stock, using stock cams, and running under 30ish psi, the stock springs are fine. If your springs are old and you want to replace them for peace of mind, there's little harm in that. The actual seat pressure of the Crower 65lb springs falls somewhere between stock and the supertech 55lb kit which may be a better option.
