Default Mazda 6 Battery/Electrical fault?

Hi all,

I'm new here and after searching the net with little luck I've come here to seek advice in the hope of avoiding a large garage bill.

I have an 07 Mazda6 TS2. Was perfect until my brake calliper siezed on (different issue) which meant I couldn't drive it for a few days while I was awaiting parts. Upon starting it after a max wait of 3 days the dials go nuts and it appears to struggle to turnover. This happens every day without fail and it doesn't seem to matter if I've driven it far or short trips the day before.

However that said, it ALWAYS starts. May take a minute or two but it always starts. Like I said, the dials always go nuts but with a bit of gas eventually she turns over and then she's fine. I've had the battery tested and it reads 12.4v engine off and 14 on and my mechanic said the alternator seems fine also.

I leave nothing plugged in overnight and I've even turned the lights inside the car off to save battery.

Thoughts?
