Default MSF doesn't work on home computer

If I try to come here the screen stays white and eventually says website took too long to respond. Did some research was told to delete cookies, history, clear host file and it still doesn't work. I used hidemyass.com (proxy i guess?) and the page loaded. It only started a few days ago. Works fine at work. I tried it on firefox, ie, and chrome and no luck. Has my home IP been blocked or something?

After deleting your cookies in each browser, did you shut down each and every browser before trying to load the page again? If not, some data could persist and cause the page to fail to load. You could also go into command prompt (or terminal, if you're on a Mac) and try to ping the web address for MSF to see if your computer is able to communicate with the site.

As for the hosts file, if there was a problem with it, you'd see 127.0.0.1 and http ://www.mazdaspeedforums. org next to each other, but you wouldn't be seeing a "this page is taking too long to respond"-variety of message.

could be a temporary issue with your DNS server(s).

Can test by changing your DNS server IP's to OpenDNS, a free and very excellent DNS service.

Can google both how to change DNS settings and OpenDNS

Yes, I shut down each browser. I'll try pinging it tonight. Thanks.

No idea what that means. I'll look into it.
