MSF & Tapatalk

So I know there have been several threads regarding MSF not being able to connect to tapatalk or issues with tapatalk itself. So flame/groan away if this has already been answered, I just couldn't see my particular problem in any of the other threads.

Anyways, I currently have a Galaxy S4 with the newest version of Tapatalk and the phone fully updated. I have not been able to connect to MSF on tapatalk for the past few months and during that time there have been several phone updates as well as tapatalk updates. The weird thing is, I am connected to several other forums and these have not been affected, I can still connect, post, view to those just fine.

Has anyone else ever seen this happen? I've tried removing MSF from my list of forums and adding it back but the issue persists.

Maybe updates fucked it up? I do know sometimes it acts up on me. Wont let me post amd wont refresh. I have to exit application then go back in.

Happened to me a few months back on my rooted Nexus 4 (Android 4.4) with Tapatalk Pro

No rhyme or reason as to why it would stop connecting. Phone reboot, clearing app data in settings, removing MSF from the app and adding it back would not fix it.

Uninstall and reinstall of the app would fix it for a day, sometimes a week, and then it would shit out again.

Eventually got tired of it not connecting and just use my browser now.

This is exactly what I'm doing right now and it's really annoying. Especially since I can access my other forums with no problems....

Yea Tapatalk sucks bawls...the browser is a pain with scrolling and zooming in all the time but I just deal with it

The infuriating part is I still get tapatalk notifications, so somehow it is connected. But when I try to open the notification, nope, sorry, can't connect

I just find it odd that some poeple with the same version of tapatalk and android AND an S4 have 0 problems. Just seems so hit or miss

No issues here with s3 (android 4.3) and the new (free) tapatalk.

It does kind of hang sometimes when it loading my subbed or the timeline. If it does I just back out to the log in screen and it loads up fine.

I have the paid versoin of Tapatalk, but I'm not sure if it matters which version you're using.

Mine loads everything fine, but big threads it won't load, and sometimes it doesn't load pictures correctly, or sometimes just takes a while to load anything in general. Even on WiFi and/or full 4G. This is the only forum it does it to me on, but I'm used to it now.

I'm using a Razr Maxx, everything is updated on it, just for reference.

Ok guys, i went ahead and did an update. I am not sure how significant this update is, but it looks like they did a complete overhaul. We were the first site to use Tapatalk and over the years, they have made various changes. Some of them have been horrid... So, looking at the install of this update, the amount of files that were added and new content folders, i'm guessing somethings up.

For me it seems to have fixed my issue regarding threads with tons of pics not loading.

Nothing else noticed at the moment.

I know some threads with 200+ pages, I get a bogus network error. Go to first, then go to last, done. Tapatalk indexing issue I think.

Yeah and they told me it couldn't be replicated in house... Hopefully whatever rolls out next with them, will actually benefit the users. I need to also know if the push notifications are working?

They were pushing to my phone last night. I'm not fond of it thus turn it off.

I get the indexing page error on the Hot wives/GF page. I'll try Raider's advice.

The loading times have increased for me, and pictures seem to load quicker although I haven't tried to load any big threads yet. Haven't been I'm a good service area today to try that out. I haven't received any notifications today from Tapatalk, although I usually only got them a couple of times a day anyway.

Edit: I got notifications just a little while ago.

note 3 here... only issue that really fucking bothers me is the fact that even if i hit the home button... it will bring me to the forum selection menu of tapatalk nk matter what thread im in... sometimes it'll back me out or sometimes i get lucky....pretty much only issue....oh yea and no groaning

Push notifications working for me, but I can no longer access any forums tied to VIP status. This is both on my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and my Note 2. Not being able to view the FS threads and rampant nekkidness makes me sad.

Fwiw, I usually get kicked out to my main list of forums anytime I try to access ny messaging inbox and sent messages,

Also hit and miss on certain threads have extra pages with nothing on them.

Ex, Socal bs thread shows something like 214pg but no writing on pages 205-214

Hate to revive an old thread but I just came back to android, lg g3 with android 4.4, soon to be android 5.0. Tapatalk won't let me connect here. Any ideas?
